Project Architecture & Intent
Engineered as a reusable security foundation for modern web applications, this project focuses on preventing OWASP authentication vulnerabilities, implementing strict password complexity validation, and delivering a modern user interface.
What needed solving
Many web applications suffer from insecure authentication pipelines, exposing plain credentials, vulnerable endpoints, and poorly sanitized forms.
How it was solved
Implemented multi-layered validation middleware, bcrypt salted hashing (12 salt rounds), secure token handling, and clear feedback states built on accessible ShadCN and Tailwind components.

Resolution: Implemented constant-time cryptographic comparisons and rate-limiting middleware to throttle repeated failed attempts.
